नाइजीरिया के राष्ट्रपति ने दो दिन पहले बायफ्रा के उग्रवादियों द्वारा सुरक्षा बलों पर किए गए हमले की निंदा करते हुए ट्वीट किया कि ऐसे लोगों को छोड़ा नहीं जाएगा और उन्हें उसी भाषा में जवाब दिया जाएगा जो वह समझते हैं। ट्विटर ने उस पोस्ट को ‘अब्यूसिव बिहेवियर’ कह कर डिलीट कर दिया और राष्ट्रपति के अकाउंट को बारह घंटे के लिए सस्पैंड कर दिया। ताजा खबर यह है कि सरकार ने ट्विटर को ही नाइजीरिया में अनिश्चित काल तक के लिए सस्पैंड कर दिया है और सारे सोशल माडिया वालों के ‘लाइसेंसिंग’ की प्रक्रिया प्रारम्भ करने के निर्देश भी जारी किए हैं।
